Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship

1、INTRODUCTION

Nanjing Municipal Government has set up the "Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship" for international students in order to promote the development of higher education of International students in the city of Nanjing, to further improve the profile of Nanjing to the world, and to make Nanjing a preferred city for international students. This scholarship will be provided to outstanding overseas students or scholars to undertake full time study in universities and colleges of Nanjing. It will also include those non-degree program students and exchange students.

2、CATEGORIES OF APPLICANTS

(1). Excellent foreign students who wish to undertake full time study in universities and colleges in the city of Nanjing.

(2). Non-degree program students and exchange students who wish to undertake full time language program in universities and colleges in the city of Nanjing.

3、CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY

(1). Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

(2). Education background and age limit:

Applicants for undergraduate programs must have senior high school diploma with a good academic performance and be under the age of 30.

Applicants for master's degree programs must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35.

Applicants for doctoral degree programs must have a master's degree and be under the age of 40.

(3). Applicants must agree to obey the relevant laws of China and meet the admission requirements of the host universities or colleges.

(4). Applicants must have a good academic record.

(5). Applicants cannot be recipients of other scholarships offered by Chinese government, local governments or other organizations simultaneously.

4、SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE

(1). 10000RMB/Year for Bachelor's Degree Program Students

(2). 20000RMB/Year for Master's Degree Program Students

(3). 5000RMB/Half a Year for Non-degree Program Students

5、  APPLICATION PROCEDURES

(1). Browse the website: http://iec.njfu.edu.cn and download the scholarship application form.

(2). Fill in the scholarship application form.

(3). Upload the scanned file of the form with other materials to our email: interedu@njfu.edu.cn

6、APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

(1). A copy of passport;

(2). A copy of Diploma and degree (notarized version);

(3). Related transcripts (original or notarized version);

(4). Three recent photos;

(5). HSK certificate or other English certificate;

(6). Healthy report.

Master degree and PhD applicants should also submit the following documents:

(7). A statement of purpose, including personal experience, the professional background and research plan, 400-800 words.

(8). Two recommendation letters from (associate) professors.
