HOME >> ABOUT US >> Introduction to College |
The College of International Education was established in October 2004 with the goal of developing international education cooperation and serves as host to foreign students and scholars who visit the university. On one hand, the college provides advanced educational resources in international education, advanced teaching concepts and models in order to improve teaching quality; and on the other hand, it seeks opportunities to expose NFU’s superior qualities and increase its reputation in the international market of higher education.
The College of International Education manages, coordinates and develops teaching plans for international education programs and Chinese-foreign cooperation in schools, and works to integrate foreign admission plans and routine teaching arrangements into the admission and teaching plans of NFU. The college is in charge of enrolling, teaching and hosting foreign students.
While conducting Chinese-foreign cooperation in schools, the college not only carries out on-campus programs, but it also participates in several different study-abroad and international communication programs from the China Scholarship Council and the Education Department of Jiangsu Province. Simultaneously, the college strives to nurture talented personnel and to introduce high-quality foreign educational resources in order to improve NFU international personnel training and development.
