Notice of AYSA Three Minute Thesis Competition

南京林业大学在读外国留学硕士生、博士生：

NJFU international master and doctoral students:

亚太青年科学家协会面向亚太地区研究生发出参赛邀请：限时三分钟，仅使用一张静态幻灯片，向非专业听众阐释你的研究价值。

The Asia-Pacific Young Scientists Association invites graduate students across the Asia-Pacific region to compete: three minutes, one static slide, and a chance to make your research matter to a non-specialist audience.

一. 比赛形式 Competition Format

1.本次大赛将首先开展初选，参赛者提交视频与 PPT 幻灯片参与评审。通过初选的选手晋级半决赛与决赛，半决赛和决赛将通过 Zoom 线上直播进行。

The competition will begin with a preliminary selection process through video and PowerPoint slide submissions. Successful candidates will then advance to the semi-final and final rounds, which will take place live via Zoom

半决赛（线上实时）：2026 年 11 月 13 日

Semi-final (live): Nov 13, 2026

决赛（线上实时）：2026 年 11 月 27 日

Final (live): Nov 27, 2026

2.本次比赛将设置奖项，第一名奖励 1000 美元，第二名 600 美元，第三名 300 美元。

Awards will be offered: US$1,000 for first place, US$600 for second place, and US$300 for third place.

二. 比赛主题 Topic

本次比赛征集主题如下：

The acceptable topics for this competition are listed as follows:

1.Forest Resources Management：森林资源管理（林学标准学科名）

2.Biodiversity and Ecosystem：生物多样性与生态系统

3.Wood Science：木材科学

4.Bio-based Materials：生物基材料

5.Bio-Products：生物制品

6.Bioenergy：生物能源

三. 报名方式 Registration Method

1.报名方式：发送邮件至1143357639@qq.com，注明学院、姓名、专业、导师姓名和论坛汇报主题以及微信号。

Registration Method: Send an email to1143357639@qq.com, clearly stating your college, major, full name，name of your supervisor and forum presentation topic and WeChat account

2.报名截止时间：2026 年 10 月 15 日。

Registration Deadline: Oct 15, 2026

3.报名内容：本次报名需提交完整PPT 及视频。

Registration Content: Complete PowerPoint slides and a video are required for registration.
