Notice on the Teaching Arrangements for International Postgraduate Students for 2025-2026-1

Dear International Postgraduate Students:

New semester has began on August 31. There are several things to be noted:

1. As for your scores for last semester/year, please check results through the system https://gs.njfu.edu.cn/pyxx_nl_en/login.aspx. As for how to use the system, please check: https://ieceng.njfu.edu.cn//ACADEMICS/Postgraduates/Downloads/20240927/i317894.html

2. If you still have classes in the new semester, please wait for teaching secretary’s arrangement (only offline courses will be offered). You can do your research at the same time.

3. If you have finished all your courses, please contact your supervisor to discuss about your research topic and try to start the topic early.

4. For students who need to suspend, resume or withdraw from our university for some reason, while handling relevant procedures (such as leaving the school), please fill in relevant forms (https://ieceng.njfu.edu.cn//ACADEMICS/Postgraduates/Downloads/20220324/i249561.html), and submit them to teaching secretary (Room 215) after being signed and approved by your supervisors and related leaders in charge from your learning college.

5. Students who have completed course study, you should mainly focus on scientific research under the guidance of your supervisors. The tasks and methods related to thesis writing and guidance should be formulated by each supervisor. Students of corresponding grades should complete the opening report, evaluation, practical assessment and other links on time (completing the opening report，evaluation as soon as possible is conducive to your degree thesis, graduation on time and the evaluation of academic scholarships). Your learning college may arrange opening report defense at a certain time period, so you must discuss details with your supervisor as earlier as possible!

Please apply, register corresponding steps in the system (https://ieceng.njfu.edu.cn//ACADEMICS/Postgraduates/Downloads/20240927/i317894.html); after passing the defense, please submit the whole signed hard copies of related materials to College of International Education, Room 215.

6. Students who intend to graduate in this December, you should submit the whole thesis and the Application Form of Paper-Reviewing signed by your supervisors to teaching secretary (Ms. Yu, Room 215) before October 31. PhD students must pass the pre-defense before thesis review. Please check Dissertation Review and Defense Process for Postgraduate Students, Application Form of Paper-Reviewing for Postgraduates, The Layout of Degree Dissertation at https://ieceng.njfu.edu.cn/ACADEMICS/Postgraduates/Downloads/. If you can submit thesis on time, please contact Ms.Yu in advance (before September 30).

7. Please keep in mind the timeline and details of “Studying in NJFU”(https://ieceng.njfu.edu.cn//ACADEMICS/Postgraduates/Introduction/20220324/i249558.html) and finish related links at corresponding time point. For students taught in Chinese, graduation requirement: new HSK 5; For students taught in English, graduation requirement: new HSK 3.The maximum duration of study for master student is 4 years, for PhD student is 7 years.
